Bratwurst with sour cream Duplicate recipe

Boil in a pan salted water and submerge the sausages for a few minutes. Drain and put them on a plate and keep the water aside.


Melt the butter in a pan, add the sausages and fry them on high heat. Add a glass of the water they boiled in, lower the heat, cover the pan and let them cook for about 15 minutes. Drain and put them on a plate, keeping them warm.


Put the pan where you cooked the sausage back on the stove, incorporate the flour, stir well to make sure there are not any lumps, add salt and , continually stirring, the sour cream with the lemon juice and a bit of the bratwursts water.


Cook the sauce until it is soft. Slice the sausages on diagonally, arrange them on a plate and pour the hot sauce over them. You can serve it with a cabbage side dish.
