Rice with anchovies Duplicate recipe

Directions
1.

Pour hot water over the rice, salt, mix and cover.

2.

Dice the onion and put it in a pan with 1/4 cup of water and cook it for about 10 minutes on medium heat. Add the oil and cook it for a few minutes more.

3.

Drain the rice, add it in the pan with the onion and cook all for about 6 more minutes.

Add the currants, the pine nuts, a cup of hot water and sugar, mix it, cover the pan ans cook it on medium heat for about 10 minutes.

5.

Add the other spices to the rice, cover the pan and let it rest for 10 minutes.

6.

Put the anchovy fillets in a oiled pan and cover the whole surface of it, including the sides, with the outside part out.

7.

Put the rice in the middle and cover the rice with the rest of the anchovy fillets.

8.

Put some oil over the anchovy and cook it in the oven at 200 °C for about 40 minutes.
